The Reading Rainbow site can be used by both teachers and students. For students, there is a section of games that range from simply drawing something on the computer to learning how sentences are put together. Teachers can use the site to search for books based on age level and theme and fun activities to do after reading. There are, of course, videos from the television show that can be watched online as well. The variety of content on the site makes it a great resource to have and the fact that Reading Rainbow is something that is familiar to both children and many teachers (particularly newer ones who grew up watching the program) doesn’t hurt either.
