On the late author Roald Dahl’s official site, there are lesson ideas for teachers about using his books in their classrooms, as well as activities to promote students writing their own stories. Many children find Dahl’s books to be humorous and fun, and this site is has helpful tips for teachers on how to take this interest and turn it into an overall learn of learning and inspiration for their own creativity. My favorite parts of the site are all of the downloads and interviews with Dahl that talk about all the work that goes into writing and how much fun it can be. Teachers can really use this site for tips on how to spark their students interests in reading and storytelling.
